“The guy is asking you to the dance, so he should pay for the prom limo.” – Kendra

“What if your school is girl’s choice? You can’t say that the guy has to ask and pay then. You can talk and see what you want to do and then make a decision together.” – Brooke

Can I Bring My Child’s Car Seat on an Airport Shuttle?

Traveling can be one of the most rewarding and exciting things that you can do with your spare time and money. Learning about new cultures, visiting new places, and having new experiences are just a few of the exciting things that you can do when you travel. Traveling with kids is even better. You get to see the wonder on their face when they get to get on an airplane and see the clouds for the first time. Even going through security can be an interesting new experience for them. And stressful for you. Not only do you have to worry about yourself but now you have a little one to keep track of – not including all their toys, bags, strollers and car seats.

A common question when looking at LAX airport transportation and ground transportation in general is: Can I bring my child’s car seat on the shuttle? The answer is a definite yes! You can always bring it with you. In fact, your child’s car seat counts as a safety item (along with their stroller) which can be checked for free at most airlines (always check with yours in advance, just in case).

If you are concerned about their safety on the plane and they have their own seat, you can install the car seat directly on the airplane seat. Many parents don’t feel the need to do this and it’s not required. It’s up to the parent to make the determination if that is something they would like to do. If you are traveling and renting a car, you’ll need to make arrangements to reserve a child’s car seat as well from the rental agency. Most states have certain laws and requirements that come into play with a child’s car seat. You can always check the state you are visiting in advance. Most people prefer to bring their own seat from home. It alleviates an extra expense for the trip and ensures that your child will have something that they are comfortable to sit in.
