It’s time! The wedding is only a few days away! It’s time for that super fun night! You know what I’m talking about! The bachelorette party! But when should you plan it for? Is there a fast and hard rule of when you want to plan and have the big party?
Who
Who’s supposed to host the bachelorette party? Really anyone can in the wedding party. Usually the maid of honor and the bridesmaids do the planning but it could be another friend. And who do you invite? While you usually invite all the shower guests to the wedding, you don’t have to keep that same rule for the bachelorette party. You can invite a coworker or neighbor, especially if the wedding is out of town and have them attend the bachelorette party without attending the wedding. How many? Under 20 people for sure, or they won’t all fit in the bachelorette party limo.
Plan ahead
Make sure to make a plan of the entire bash, including transportation to make the day a success. If you have limited funds, it’s okay to ask for a donation from everyone attending if it is going to be somewhere expensive. Make sure that the bride doesn’t pay anything to attend the party. This is supposed to be for her after all. Don’t put yourself over a barrel and pick something that’s so expensive or time consuming that it’s not fun. It doesn’t cost a lot to have a great time with friends.
Invites
Make sure you send out the invites (digital and paper) with plenty of time for people to make it. Usually the bachelorette party is held a few days or the weekend before the big date! Make sure you coordinate travel plans with those traveling to and from the wedding if it is important that they attend. Make sure you get that all important RSVP or you may end up with too much food or not any at all.
With a little effort, you can plan the bachelorette party of her dreams! Take some time to make the day or night truly special!
